
This photograph shows heavy molds stored on dedicated steel racks. Racking uses floor space efficiently, but the real control is the connection between each physical tool and its current record. A mold location should be searchable by tool number and customer part, and the rack position should not be treated as proof that the tool is ready to run.
One tool may be preserved and released for the next order; another may occupy the adjacent rack while waiting for a slide repair or insert replacement. Huabo uses status information to prevent a tool with an unresolved issue from being scheduled as production-ready. Last-run notes help maintenance focus on observed flash, sticking, ejector marks or cooling behavior.

Agree on ownership marking, routine maintenance, major repair approval, storage period and disposition if the program ends. For long-life projects, discuss spare inserts for vulnerable features and how dimensional approval will be repeated after major maintenance.
