Huabo's service page is written for buyers who already have a drawing, sample or project idea and need a practical manufacturing partner for custom die casting parts. The focus is not a general list of factory capabilities. It explains how an RFQ becomes a quoted project, how technical questions are clarified, how samples are reviewed, and how repeat production is supported after the first order.
For many overseas buyers, the difficult part is not only finding a die casting supplier. The difficult part is sending the right information, avoiding unclear assumptions, controlling sample changes, and keeping the same part stable after tooling, machining, surface finishing and shipment. This page explains the cooperation path.
| Step | What Huabo Reviews | What Buyer Should Prepare | Output |
| RFQ review | Part structure, material, quantity, finish, tolerance and application | 2D drawing, 3D file, material grade, annual quantity and surface requirement | Initial feasibility questions and quotation direction |
| Process suggestion | Whether the part needs aluminum casting, zinc casting, CNC machining or surface finishing | Application details, assembly function and critical dimensions | Suggested manufacturing route and risk notes |
| Tooling and sample stage | Mold plan, machining allowance, sample inspection and change feedback | Sample approval standard, inspection focus and finish requirement | Trial sample review and improvement list if needed |
| Mass production | Casting, trimming, machining, finishing, inspection and packing sequence | Confirmed drawing revision, PO requirements and delivery schedule | Batch production and shipment preparation |
| Repeat order support | Drawing version, process stability, quality feedback and packing consistency | Forecast, order history and any updated requirement | More stable repeat production and faster communication |
A clear RFQ saves time for both buyer and factory. If a buyer sends only a photo or a part name, the factory may not know material, size, tolerance, finish, tooling expectation or inspection level. A better RFQ explains what the part does and what cannot fail in assembly.

Some project questions should be solved before quotation is finalized. For example, a drawing may show a sharp internal corner that is difficult for die casting, a threaded hole that should be machined after casting, or a visible surface that needs extra finishing and packing protection. Huabo reviews these points before the project moves too far, because late changes usually cost more than early clarification.
| Question Type | Example | Where It Connects |
| Material and process choice | Aluminum or zinc alloy? Cast feature or machined feature? | Manufacturing Capabilities |
| Application fit | Is it automotive, electronics, communication equipment or industrial machinery? | Industries Served |
| Inspection expectation | Which dimensions need CMM, projector, thread gauge or appearance review? | Quality Control |
| Equipment evidence | Can the factory support casting, machining and inspection in the same project? | Machining & Inspection Equipment |
Sample approval should not be treated as a formality. It is the point where the buyer and factory confirm whether the drawing, tooling, casting process, machining route, surface finish and inspection plan are aligned. If a sample needs adjustment, the feedback should be specific: which dimension, which surface, which assembly issue, which finish defect or which packaging risk needs correction.
For painted or visible parts, sample approval should include surface appearance and packing review. For machined parts, it should include critical dimension checks. For material-sensitive projects, alloy confirmation should be agreed before mass production.

After sample approval, the service focus changes from technical feasibility to repeatability. Production coordination should confirm drawing version, process route, inspection points, surface finish, packing method and delivery schedule. For export buyers, packing protection and communication about shipment readiness are part of the service, especially for painted or finished parts.
| Buyer Situation | Useful Starting Point |
| You have a new aluminum or zinc casting drawing | Send 2D/3D files, material, quantity and finish requirement for RFQ review |
| You have an existing part but want a new supplier | Send sample photos, drawings if available, current issues and annual quantity |
| You need machined holes, threads or flatness | Mark critical dimensions and review CNC Machining for Die Casting Parts |
| You need painting or coating | Define color, visible surfaces, coating type and packing protection |
| You need quality documents or inspection planning | List inspection items and review Quality Control |
Can Huabo quote from a sample instead of a drawing?
A sample can help, but drawings are strongly recommended for accurate tooling, machining and inspection planning. If drawings are not available, the buyer should provide clear photos, dimensions, material and application information.
What information affects die casting quotation the most?
Material, part size, tooling complexity, machining requirements, surface finish, inspection level, annual quantity and packing requirements all affect quotation.
Can one project include die casting, CNC machining and painting?
Yes. Many OEM projects combine casting, machining, surface finishing, painting or coating, inspection and packing. The process route should be clarified before order confirmation.
How should sample feedback be provided?
Feedback should be tied to drawing dimensions, surface areas, assembly results or finish standards. General comments are less useful than specific measurements, photos and marked issues.
Where should buyers send RFQ information?
Use the Contact Us page and include drawings, material, quantity, application, finish and inspection requirements when possible.
