Die Casting Machine Capacity: 58T to 800T

Huabo's equipment list covers aluminum die casting machines from 300T to 800T and zinc die casting machines from 58T to 168T. Tonnage refers to clamping force; it is an important screening value, but it does not by itself decide whether a component fits. Project review also considers projected area, cavity count, alloy, wall structure, shot requirement and the space needed for runners and overflows.

How Huabo selects a machine

The part's projected area is evaluated together with expected cavity pressure and the area added by the runner system. The mold dimensions and opening requirement must suit the platen, tie-bar spacing and stroke. Shot capacity and alloy volume are then checked. The result may place two visually similar parts on different machines because one has a larger runner, deeper cavity or higher pressure demand.

Capacity planning for repeat orders

Four 300T aluminum machines and three 90T zinc machines can provide scheduling flexibility for compatible tooling, but each additional setup must be qualified. Huabo also includes mold change, warm-up, first-piece approval, trimming, machining and inspection when confirming delivery rather than quoting theoretical casting cycles alone.

Data needed for a machine-fit review

Send 3D geometry, 2D drawing, preferred alloy, annual demand, batch quantity and any existing tool information. If only a sample is available, include overall dimensions, weight and assembly function. Final machine selection follows DFM and tooling review.
