Shot blasting is a controlled surface process, not a universal cosmetic cure. Huabo uses listed flat-belt and tracked equipment for compatible die cast components. The route is selected after considering geometry, part-to-part contact, machined surfaces and what will happen next, such as painting, powder coating or direct shipment.
| Requirement | Useful definition |
|---|---|
| Coverage | Areas that require uniform treatment and areas permitted to remain untouched |
| Appearance | Approved sample, texture range, lighting and viewing distance |
| Protected features | Masking or no-blast zones for functional faces and threads |
| Cleanliness | No loose media, chips or residue at the agreed inspection level |
| Post-process handling | Time to coating, corrosion protection and separator requirement |
Requesting 鈥渟and blast finish鈥?without a visual standard allows different media and textures to be treated as equivalent. Sending a machined component without marking sealing faces can lead to unwanted surface change. Choosing tracked cleaning only for price can create collision marks on thin or visible parts. These risks are reduced during drawing and sample review.
Send the drawing, alloy, current/raw surface, desired appearance, protected zones, batch size and next coating process. Huabo can then propose the equipment route and identify where a trial sample is necessary.
