Die casting tooling lead time depends on more than the number of days a supplier writes in a quotation. Design complexity, DFM feedback, material, sliders, inserts and sample approval all affect the real schedule.
A mold schedule starts with drawing review and ends only after trial samples are checked and corrections are closed.
